Course Description: Nourish the Kidneys, Strengthen the Foundation
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the kidneys are considered the “root of life” — responsible for storing vital energy (jing) and supporting growth, development, reproduction, and bone health.
The kidneys also help regulate fluids, filter toxins, nourish the brain and spine, and work with the lungs and spleen to manage water metabolism.
When kidney energy is weak, signs may include fatigue, weak lower back or knees, hair loss, poor memory, low libido, or emotional exhaustion.
Many common conditions — like insomnia, low energy, reproductive issues, or chronic pain — are linked to kidney imbalance and poor coordination between the heart and kidneys (“xin shen bu jiao”).
According to TCM, the kidney meridian starts at the pinky toe, flows through the sole (Yongquan point), moves up the inner legs, spine, and connects with organs like the kidneys, bladder, liver, heart, lungs — ending at the root of the tongue.
This course targets key areas along the kidney meridian, using gentle movements to help nourish the kidneys, improve energy, and restore internal balance.
